AdBoard | Sell Ad Space on Your Screen to Local Businesses - Moonode
AdBoard by Moonode turns a TV into a local billboard. Nearby businesses scan the QR code on the screen, pay online, and the screen owner approves. Ads run on the TV and as sponsored stories on the community’s phones. Moonode collects payment and pays the owner out through Stripe.
How AdBoard works
- A local business scans the QR code on the screen and opens a checkout on their phone.
- They pick a format, choose the days, upload the artwork, and pay by card. No account needed.
- The screen owner approves the ad from the Moonode dashboard. Ads that are turned down are refunded in full.
- The ad reaches the TV in about a second and runs for the days that were paid for, then comes down on its own.
Where ads show
- On the TV: posters and videos on the main stage, business cards on the bottom rail.
- The side panel carries free announcements, or prayer times from a mosque the owner picks.
- As sponsored stories on the organisation’s page in the Moonode app.
- As sponsored stories on the phone prayer-times page, under the clock.
Formats and pricing
- Poster: an image or a styled text card, at the owner’s daily rate.
- Video: up to 15 seconds, muted, 250% of the daily rate.
- Business card: name, offer and phone on the rail, 40% of the daily rate.
- Announcement: a free text card written by someone in the community.
- Moonode keeps 30% of every paid ad, or 20% if the entity also runs a Deen Screen; the rest is paid to the owner through Stripe Connect.
Frequently asked questions
Who can advertise on my screen?
Anyone who scans the code. Businesses pay for their ad: the café across the street, a garage, a dentist. Neighbours can post a free announcement instead. You see every one before it shows and can turn down any of them.
How do I get paid?
Advertisers pay by card. Moonode keeps 30%, or 20% if you also run a Deen Screen, and sends the rest to the Stripe account you connect, automatically, ad by ad.
Can it show prayer times?
Yes. Pick a verified mosque on Moonode that already shows its prayer times, and they fill the side panel with the next prayer highlighted. A café near a mosque can show them next to the ads.
